EDO ENTREPRENEURS DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION was founded in 2018 in Perundurai, when a group of passionate trustees, civic leaders, and medical professionals came together to address the stark inequalities in rural hamlets and neglected communities. Their shared belief was simple yet powerful — that development must include everyone, especially those most often left behind. Inspired by the idea that real change starts at the grassroots, Sri Charitable Trust was created as a platform to work with communities, not just for them.

The initial years marked a period of rapid grassroots expansion in Erode district. While urban centers expanded and markets flourished, thousands of rural families were left without access to basic services — healthcare, education kits, clean water, and sustainable livelihoods. Sri Charitable Trust recognized this gap and stepped in to bridge it, adopting a model that integrates multiple humanitarian services for holistic community development.
